Our Online Top-Up service allows Event Organisers to sell cash ‘top-ups’ for redemption at a specific event. When you attend the event you will receive an RFID card or wristband. Any top-ups you purchase will be transferred to the RFID card or wristband. You will then be able to use your wristband to purchase products and services at the event, up to the value of Online Top-Ups you have purchased. The top-ups are issued in the form of electronic records that can be accessed Event Organisers, primarily in order to verify your identity and entitlements at the event venue.
The contract for the sale of top-ups is directly between you and the Event Organiser. This means that:
We do not warrant that the events you purchase Online Top-Ups for will actually take place or that they will include certain content or be of certain quality. Furthermore we do not warrant that any products and services that you may be entitled to through your purchase of an Online Top-Up will be available or be of a certain quality. All these aspects are the responsibility of the Event Organiser.
Access to an event and/or event venue (or any part thereof) may be subject to the terms, conditions, policies and other arrangements of Event Organisers. We do not guarantee that you will be able to access the event and/or event venue even where you have purchased Online Top-ups that would be valid at that event.
Where products and services you may be entitled to through your purchase of an Online Top-up are not available or may be of insufficient quality, Event Organisers may, subject to their wholesale agreements with us, use our electronic Online Top-Up records in order to process refunds or provide alternative options.
Our Online Refund service allows you to claim a refund for any remaining cash balance that may be left on your RFID card or wristband after the end of an event.
If Online Refunds are available for a particular event, you will only be able to claim a refund during a specific period of time after the event. This time period will be stated on the page for claiming refunds for that event. You must claim your refund during this time period.
You will have to pay a processing fee in order to receive your refund. This processing fee will be deducted from the remaining balance on your RFID card or wristband. If the remaining balance on your RFID card or wristband is less than the processing fee, you will be unable to claim a refund.
After claiming your refund on our website you may be required to complete additional steps such as responding to an email or providing additional personal information. You must complete the additional steps within 5 working days. Failure to complete these steps may result in losing your refund.
In order to make the use of most features of our website, most notably the Online Top-Up and Online Refund services, you must provide certain personal information.
Normally you are able to use our services once you have reached the age of 13. However if you are under the age of 18, please make sure that a parent or legal guardian reads these Terms and explains anything that you do not understand. Please note that additional age restrictions may apply to Online Top-Ups.
When you use our services, we will process your personal data. This is in the legitimate interest of the Event Organiser to identify you at the event, provide you with your entitlements and to provide you with a refund. The data processing is also necessary to perform contracts between you and the Event Organiser in relation to the provision of your entitlements. Please see our Privacy Policy for more information about how we process your data.
We retain the right to revoke your right to use our services at any time if in our reasonable opinion you have failed to comply with any of these Terms, and/or on our reasonable suspicion of fraud or other illegal activity.
It is the responsibility of Event Organisers to comply with your consumer rights in distance selling and e-commerce transactions. Note that the right of cancellation of order under the Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation and Additional Charges) Regulations 2013 will not normally apply to Online Top-ups or other tickets and vouchers purchased for redemption at events with a specific date or period of performance.
